reading Open source hooliganism and the TypeScript meltdown reminds me of when some hooligans publicly declared that they would force me to change the license of the open source project that I maintain, and just showed up one day in the project.

If you are neither a contributor to, nor a user of a project, you absolutely have no business attempting to strong-arm a project’s technical — or even worse, license! — decisions. In Turbo’s case, the decision was made to drop TypeScript, which resulted in the hooliganism…
